Notifications
Notifications bring important updates from Hubleto into one place. They can inform a user about activity in the system, such as a change to a record, without requiring the user to search through every app. The inbox keeps received notifications together so that you can review them when they are relevant to your work.
Unlike a general-purpose chat or email app, Notifications primarily displays messages generated by Hubleto and its applications. Notifications are addressed to individual users; the current inbox does not provide a standard compose form for broadcasting a message to an entire team or role.
What a notification contains
Each notification stores the information needed to identify its source and understand why it was sent:
- Recipient and sender: The To and From fields identify the user receiving the notification and the user associated with sending it.
- Subject and body: A short subject summarizes the update, while the body provides its details and context.
- Category and priority: These fields help distinguish different kinds of notifications. Available category names depend on the applications installed and configured in your Hubleto instance.
- Related link or record: Some notifications include a URL or a reference to the record that triggered them, allowing you to open the relevant context directly.
- Sent and read times: Hubleto records when a notification was sent and, where applicable, when it was marked as read.
Managing your inbox
Unread notifications are highlighted in the list. After reviewing one, you can mark it as read; if you need to return to it later, you can mark it as unread again. You can also search the list to find earlier updates. This makes Notifications a useful place to keep track of changes and alerts that might otherwise be overlooked.
